About Us

We have dreamed of opening a space for the people who believe small is beautiful to connect with each other over clothing, coffee and wine. Yūgen provides this experience. At its core, Yūgen is two things: a clothing boutique and a café and wine bar. 

We select clothing crafted by responsible and thoughtful makers. Our goal is to provide slow fashion at an accessible price to those who believe in buying something for life. We share the same fundamental values of the brands we work with: slowness and the rejection of industrial tempo; transparency in sourcing and production; utility of well-made, built-to-last objects; and small-scale production. The coffee and wine we have chosen also support these values. 

Yūgen is more than just a second-hand shop, it is a place for like-minded people to connect and gain exposure to the world of slow fashion.
